KARVA CHAUTH CELEBRATION
The inaugural event celebrating Indian culture was a vibrant Karva Chauth celebration, held at Delhi Haat, Janakpuri, in October. This family-oriented festivity, with a special focus on women, brought the essence of Indian traditions to life. Not just women, but couples eagerly participated, making the event even more memorable. Highlights included the exciting Mr. and Mrs. Karva Chauth contest, the dazzling Karva Queen competition, and a variety of traditional games that added fun and joy to the celebration. KALA MAHOTSAV- AN ANNUAL SERIES
As its name suggests, Kala Mahotsav is a spectacular festival dedicated to the performing arts, an annual mega event that shines a spotlight on the incredible talents of young artists. This vibrant celebration draws passionate performers from various categories, including classical dance, semi-classical dance, folk dance, classical music, and semi-classical music. Artists of all ages are welcomed, with competitions organized into minor, junior, and senior categories, and conducted in both online and offline modes. A special highlight of Kala Mahotsav is the Guru Samman Samaroh, where esteemed Gurus from various art forms are honored for their dedication and contributions, making this event a true tribute to the rich heritage of performing arts.

FOUNDER
Apni Sanskriti is the brainchild of our visionary founder, Mrs. Jyoti Sharma, a passionate entrepreneur deeply rooted in Indian art and culture. From a young age, her love for music, dance, sports, poetry, and debates was evident, and she embraced these traditions with unwavering dedication. Her passion wasn't just a passing phase; it was a lifelong commitment to preserving and promoting the values and cultural heritage that shaped her.
As a mother, family values were paramount to her. She encouraged her children to excel not only academically but also in extracurricular activities, nurturing them to become well-rounded individuals. For 23 years, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to being a homemaker, instilling strong cultural values in her children and guiding them to become good citizens.
When Mrs. Sharma realized that her children were ready to spread their wings and pursue their dreams, she felt a renewed sense of purpose. Driven by her passion to make a difference, she founded the Apni Sanskriti Foundation, with the support and encouragement of her family, especially her husband. Drawing from her vast experience as a woman, parent, and homemaker, she emerged with a fresh perspective and a bold vision for change.
After the success of her initial events, Karva Chauth Celebration and Kala Mahotsav, Mrs. Sharma recognized that many women, like herself, had the desire to make a difference but lacked the means to do so. Determined to empower these women, she formed a dedicated team, bringing together like-minded individuals to create Apni Sanskriti—a platform for women to become change-makers in their communities.
Mrs. Jyoti Sharma's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and the belief that it's never too late to pursue your dreams. Through Apni Sanskriti, she continues to inspire others to embrace their cultural roots and make a meaningful impact on society.
